Teotihuacan, ancient Mexico, c. 400 - 650 CE. Small Xolopan type head. Measures 1.125” high, and depicts an individual with deeply-cut, wide eyes and open mouth, small, nicely-formed nose. Good detail, light earthen deposits. Mounted in museum-quality frame.
