Two handled amphora, ancient Hebrew inscription "Year Two" / Grape leaf on small vine, "The Freedom of Zion" in Hebrew. ** This coin was minted and circulated during the time of Josephus, the Jewish War and the standoff at Masada. These very same types of coins have been excavated atop the mountaintop fortress of Masada, and have earned the name "Masada coins".
