Ancient Central Asia, c. 2500 - 2200 BCE. A fantastic and wicked barbed bronze spearhead. Intact and unrestored, its original hooked ribs still protruding from beneath the pointed tip, which would have been heavily sharpened 3,500 years ago. A gruesome weapon, which would have been polished and shined in antiquity, to reflect the sun's brilliant rays as the soldiers marched into battle. Olive-green patina under heavy earthen and mineral deposits. A truly rare find!
