Welcome to Chapter Four of the Les Bouquinistes wine series. The goal for this wine project is to produce a remarkable Napa Valley wine that generates awareness and funds for worthy charities around the world. Each vintage celebrates a renowned author committed to social justice.
The Les Bouquinistes 2018 Chapter Four features Shobha Rao’s Girls Burn Brighter, the inspiring story of two young girls growing up in India where women and girls face daunting challenges that make adulthood uncertain and precarious. Shobha moved to the United States at age seven and currently resides in San Francisco. She was awarded the Katherine Anne Porter prize for fiction.
This bundle includes of 6 bottles of 2018 Les Bouquinistes Chapter Four Red Blend along with an author-signed copy of Girls Burn Brighter. A portion of all proceeds will go to Rao’s charity of choice, Prajwala, a pioneering anti-trafficking organization that tackles this tragedy on five fronts: prevention, protection, rescue, rehabilitation and reintegration.
