The roll-top closure lets us pack along the necessities and a couple comfort extras, while the L-shaped zipper keeps gear at the bottom easily accessible, and the side compression straps cinch it all in for a stable carry. When the skintrack turns bootpack, we strap our skis to the outside and retrieve our axe, and if emergency strikes, the front zip compartment keeps our avy gear seconds away.
