Scott Jacobs
48 Panhead
Product Description
Originally painted in 1993, 48 Panhead was one of the first Scott Jacobs studies published to limited edition. This painting was used in the celebrated opening scene of the motorcycle movie Biker Dreams where the camera pans away from the detailed reflection on the headlight. Collectors are of course particularly nostalgic about the 1948 Panhead as it was the last one to feature a springer fork.
With a career in art spanning over three decades, Scott Jacobs is known for his hyper-photorealism. His mastery of the style has captivated audiences worldwide, with paintings displayed in 90 countries and exhibited in more than 30 museums. This level of excellence made Jacobs Harley Davidson's officially licensed artist in 1993. This collection of art prints celebrated Jacobs' work with the infamous motorcycle company, as well as collaborations with Chevrolet and Ford.
