Commissioned for the 95th Anniversary of the founding of Harley Davidson, Happy Anniversary is a fascinating study. In the background, we see the wall next to the entrance to Harley Davidson's headquarters in Milwaukee. The painting itself is themed at sunset, yet Scott chose to portray the motorcycles as if they were sitting in the midday sun, creating a dramatic contrast with the evening shadows.
With a career in art spanning over three decades, Scott Jacobs is known for his hyper-photorealism. This level of excellence made Jacobs Harley Davidson's officially licensed artist in 1993.
